Horror Movie Settings
The first thing that pops into my head when I think of horror movie settings is a woods. So many horror films today use the woods as there main setting. Not exactly sure why they do, but my best guess would be because the woods is basically in the middle of no where and that makes it easier for the killer to get away because there is no one else around to help. The second place that comes to mind when I think horror movies would be a carnival or theme park. This is probably where everyone gets there fear of clowns because of all the horror movies made at a carnival, that make the clown the "bad guy". These are just a couple of different places that horror movies can take place, the list could pretty much go on forever due to the fact that any place could be scary just depending on its looks.
Realism, Anti-Realism, and Verisimilitude
Realism and anti-realism basically mean exactly what they sound like. Realism is pretty much the real deal. The things are represented and view as they are in real life. An example of realism would be the movie Forest Gump. Anti-realism on the other hand is more the fantasy side of things. Things are view more in the abstract and speculative manner. An example for anti-realism would be Back to the Future. Verisimilitude is where the movie is fake yet they still make you believe that the people, places, and things are all real. Pretty much any scary movie would be considered verisimilitude. So just to pick one I'd say The Orphan.

Tech N9ne Coming Up Big Time.
In the article "Tech N9ne Sells Himself Hard as he Purses' the Hip Hop Presidency" by Erin Podolsky shes basically talking about how Tech came from nothing and is now getting big in the hip hop industry. Tech is by far my favorite artist in the music industry today. Like stated in the article he can write songs that make you want to party but than can make songs that have meaning and kind of hit you and you can feel it. He can rap fast but than again he can sing slow. This article is relatively old being published in 2008 but I still read a lot of things I had no clue about. One thing i really found interesting was how he had choosen his name. Tech said "I learned over the years that 9 is the number of completion. Nine months for a pregnancy; cat’s got nine lives; the whole nine yards is everything". I thought that was pretty clever and there is truth behind it, because if you want something you got to go the whole nine yards. I also thought it was cool when he said his first show in San Diego only had 6 people and now he's selling out in San Diego. That just goes to show that some hard work and dedication will make you go places. Today Tech N9ne is the #1 idependent rapper in the world, meaning his music is not promoted on the radio yet he still gets a whole lot of respect. If you guys enjoy hip hop I suggest checking out Tech N9ne if you haven't yet.

How to Skin a Deer
The process of skinning a deer is very easy if you
have the proper tools and know where to make the initial cuts. Allowing for the
deer to cool will make it harder for the skin to come off As soon as possible
skin the deer so the skin comes off easier. You can have it done professionally
if you wish but following these simple steps you can save some money.
Tools
Knife
(for making cuts)
Bone
Saw (for cutting bones)
Meat
hook (to hang deer up)
Propane
Torch (burning hair off meat)
Rope
(to hang deer)
Steel
(to sharpen knife)
Step
1
Make slits in back leg tendons and hang deer from hooks in air. This will make everything easier so you will not have to bend over the deer and makes it a lot nicer to pull the hide off later.

Steelers
For those who don't know already I am a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I was in complete shock last week Thursday when they lost to the Titans. The only thing going through my head is that if Polamalu and Woodley don't heal up quick our season is in deep crap. Not only did our best 2 defensive players get hurt but 1st and 2nd string running backs as well as our center and guard. We are using a running back who has basically never seen the field all season. Even with Mendenhall and Redman out I have faith in Big Ben and our wideouts but they have so much more potential if everyone was healthy. Now our defense on the other hand, Polamalu is a big time play maker and he always seams to spark our defense up and when he's in good things happen. Well, he hasn't played all season and now here we stand at a 2-3 record. The worst part about the loss last week is that we gave it away at the end. We had the game all wrapped up at a 45 yard field goal and Ben gets sacked and we miss the 53 yarder. Than the defense blows it and we lose by a field goal. I really hope they get at it next week and take it to Cinci and maybe we can turn our season around.

How to Shoot a Bow
In order to shoot a bow you must have the proper equipment. This includes the bow, arrows, and a release. First strap your release to the opposite hand that you hold your bow with. Take your other hand and grip the bow around the handle. Next your going to want to knock an arrow onto the string and through the rest. Now hold your arm straight out at the target and place a slight bend in your elbow. Clip your release to the loop behind the knock of your arrow and slowly draw back. Once fully drawn back place the kisser button in the corner of your mouth. While using your eye closest to the string look through the peep sight and line your sight up where you want to hit. Slowly squeeze the trigger of the release wth your pointer finger and watch your arrow fly. You want to have a proper follow through so leave your bow up and pointed at the target even after the shot. A lot of people are tempted to drop there bow which causes there arrows to drop and shoot low as well.

Winning Isn't the Only Thing
David Maraniss is basically looking past the bad call and looking at the players reactions. He saying that Russel and Pete should not have made it sound like they won the game, because in all reality they know it wasn't a touchdown. He said at the end of the game Russel said it was a tough call, when honestly Russel knew it wasn't a tough call. Pete put his hands up making it look like they pulled off some miracle, when he too knows it was an interception.
In all honesty though I disagree with Maraniss because you always play to win the game. A win is a win even if it is on a bad call. If the packers would have won on the last play like that we would all be just as happy. I also really don't care because I'm not that big of a packer fan. I do cheer for them but I rep the Terrible Towel and bleed black & gold all day.
